These birds migrate here every year from someplace way down south, perhaps even as far away as Central America. They find their same nests every year and hatch and raise their young. We lost one of their nesting trees this year due to a terrible ice storm, but the birds returned and built one that is more convenient for us to watch. It sits right over our drive and we are able to see the birds from front windows.
