Hollyhocks

The hollyhocks are about gone for the summer. They're one of my favorites in the garen. Hoping to plant some more for next year with more color variety.

Working on Fox Pattern

I'm drawing off the fox pattern for Cyndi with a little bit of help from Rosie. I hope to start drawing the Daytime Garden Fox next week.

Nighttime Garden Fox is Done!

New picture of finished rug. I didn't care for the last one that was on the blog. All I need to do is bind off the edge.

Surprise Petunias!

All these pentunias started blooming beside the garage. The only explanation is the possibility of me emptying an old hanging basket from a year or so ago into our brush pile and it reseeded. Anyway, there's around a hundred blooms and they keep spreading. I don't dare dig any up because I don't think they'd transplant very well. It's just been a nice surprise where we weren't expecting it!

Afternoon at the Seedbox

Found this cute old cabinet for my wool at a wonderful Ozark's store called The Seedbox.

Wingback Chair Find

Been looking for a new chair to go with this, as of yet unfinished, raven rug. Found this little pre-owned and recently recovered wingback at a cute little vintage store. I had been looking for a new chair, and was so pleased to make this great find. The chair is far more interesting than most of what I had seen, plus less than half of what I had originally budgeted to spend! I love to buy used!!!
