BOLD AND BEAUTIFUL EASTER EGGS!

The following are shots of Ukrainian Easter eggs that my mother made over the years. The process is called Pysanky, and is a layering process done with wax and dyes. The eggs are not only decorated and given at Easter, but any occasion where you want to bring good luck to someone. The symbols all have special meanings, so the occasion determines what design will go on the egg. My mother made these for about 20+ years and did many art shows where people were just amazed with her beautiful colors and details. She always sold out of eggs way before the end of the show!
