TEA TIME

This is my latest rug design. A couple of weeks ago we had "yet another" day off from school due to weather, so I decided to put it to good use. I wanted to draw and hook a rug using only materials I had at home (didn't want to go out in the ice and snow). Out of this evolved my little Tea Time rug. I've had the idea that I wanted to design a rug using a cup and saucer for some time. I've been "hooked" on the lavender, purple, and gold color combination I used a year ago on my Raven Highlight rug. Since I had lots of those colors on hand, that's what I decided to go with. I haven't bound it off yet, but plan on doing a crocheted border. I did buy yarn for that in a rosy-purple. I'll post again when it's completely finished.

Dulcy,
I really love this rug! I've hooked a bit more on my little house rug with all the snow and have some more wool dyed and hope to dye more on Wednesday.
Is this pattern going to be on your Etsy site?
