Dulcy, I wish the view out my bedroom window was half this pretty. My yard is typical surburbia.....green grass, some trees and the neighbor's garden. All of the plans I had to landscape this spring bit the dust. But your whole house and yard is something special.
Did you ever finish your cottage rug? Or did I miss it?

You both are always so sweet to make such nice comments on my blog. JoJo, the cottage rug is about done, but not liking it. Something about too much black space, and after I crocheted the edge...the shape seems off. Oh well, I'll just work on it some more.
Alice, the fence was a privacy fence at our old house that Jim painted the inside of. Well.....the buyer just didn't like it! Imagine that! So,,,,we pulled it up and brought it over here. Instead of serving as a privacy fence, we have large pieces in the ground around the pond. Thanks you two for asking!

What I last remember of the cottage rug was that it was quite charming ~ come one, show us!!
