Oh, how I wish I had a fireplace or, even better, a wood stove. It would be so nice to curl up with a rug or a good book in front of something nice and warm. Iris looks like she's pretty comfortable.

Dulcy, did you ever finish your little cottage rug? I think I remember you're saying that you weren't happy with it but I never saw a picture. I thought it was so cute.

I love the rug!! The cat is perfect in the photograph...she could be a professional model. I got my blog to work, but haven't figured out your fancy stuff yet. If you want to check it out it's mandykitchens.blogspot.com

Is that a lil' baby head I see peeking from behind the rug... I sooo miss having a cat, but alas...Scratchy 'the cat-eater' will have nothing of it.

I really miss my fireplace to snuggle up and sew or read by...someday.

Thanks about the playlist, it really puts me into the moods of writing, also brings tears to my sentimental eyes, what glorious sounds we can surround ourselves with.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

I miss you, too. I am so glad that you are loving the book. I stopped by to see you this morning, and found you were ill. I am sorry and hope you feel better soon. I won't be there tomorrow. Sloane is home - throwing up. Yuck. So, Happy Thanksgiving, my friend. Hug Jim for me.

Okay, I'm putting away the crochet hook and pulling out the rug hook!...what a beauty, I absolutely love it.

This is such a compfy looking scene and little Iris is such a doll. You may have noticed that I was not at school today. It is because my good friend wore me out on Sat.

Really, I am fine, just needed some rest to keep healing. See you soon!

This new rug is gorgeous!

My family went nuts for the raven rug. (I have another order for you if you are up to it.) The rug sat in my studio before I wrapped it and I could have sworn I saw those birds shaking and hopping. Lovely, lovely, lovely!

Thanks again for your beautiful work!
