This is all I have hooked right now, though it's all drawn out on the linen. Isn't she cute? Sort of like a cartoon character, but I can't think of which one. Can you? I'm going to post little bits and pieces, here and there, before you see it all together. Kind of like putting together pieces of a puzzle isn't it? I'll try to add more to this little rug puzzle in a day or two.

This is going to be fantastic. Just wonderful. I love the little rosette bow on her belt. What a perfect detail.
This just fascinates me, I've often thought about hooking(rugs), but which one of my other projects would I release...better stick to finishing one of these and just keep an eyeball glued to your projects.
Right now compiling inventory for the new shop is taking over my house...but then again...what else is new!!!
Just happened upon your blog! Love it and have it bookmarked. Your rughooking retreat looks like a blast! Makes me want to dig out couple of unfinished projects! I like your "beginning of something" and can't wait to see it progress.
I love the yellow dress on your new little gal. I think rug hooking sounds great. I did do a hooked tapestry many years ago but I did not realise it was such lively craft. Your 'hooking' weekend looks great fun. I guess this casts a different slant to the word, hookers!!!
Dulcy ~ oh, Dulcy ~ where are you?
