BOATHOUSE HOOK IN!

We had an absolute blast Saturday rug hooking at the boathouse overlooking Springfield Lake. The following are just a few pictures of our day.

Dulcy, I'm glad you came up with the idea of us holding our rugs off of the deck....awesome picture to go along with an awesome day!

I have really enjoyed your blog. Why, oh why, didn't I seek out rug hooking opportunities while visiting our daughter during the years she lived in Springfield??? Just never thought of it! I have certainly learned my lesson and now that she has moved to Nashville, TN I am always on the lookout for hooking opps. :) Thanks for sharing such wonderful inspiration. Val Ewan, Bonsall, CA

Dulcy, I love the pictures you've posted of the hookin. It surely looks like a great time was had by all and I'm hoping that, if Tammy elects to turn this into an annual event, I can come next year. The scenery alone would be worth the trip but I'd love to meet you, Vicki and Sheri and all of the ladies from the Springfield group.

Hi Dulcy...I've been so bad, I just went to my mailbox today and what a surprise...I love the notebook!!! I'm going antiquing today, so it will be perfect to record my treasures in. I love the little ribbon for a bookmark, how cool is that!

Us artists never stop creating, we have our faves, but can never stop with just one medium and thank goodness for that, otherwise such creative gifts would never be available...again thank you so much and I'm so sorry I'm so late getting back to you.

Yippee...a new toy!!!
