What a cozy lil cabin surrounded by Nature, what a peaceful setting it must be for your artwork. Your pencil sketch of your cat is simply wonderful, as with taxidermy, setting the eyes in a natural position is critical to the overall look and you have done them masterfully, keep up the good work...I'm still waiting for the inspiration to sit and paint. I know all it will take is me forcing myself to sit and do it, that always starts the juices flowing, then I go on a painting, pencil sketchin' streak...soon I hope!

Have a wonderful holiday this coming week, pray for peace and good will in the New Year!

It's Christmas evening and we are having a lull while we prepare Christmas dinner. I wanted to stop by and wish you the merriest of Christmases. May you and Jim enjoy laughter, love and peace. May you feel all the love that we feel for you. May you truly know you are blessed. Sending you much love! ~ Relyn

Dulcy, I know it can be difficult to create when you are playing hostess to a house of relatives and being sick all the while. Time to doodle. Just a few minutes while in bed before falling off to sleep may produce awful scribble or profound words and visions. I even find it fun to reread my "sketches" a few weeks later. Noting just how I was feeling physically at the time including family pressures and obligations can put a more compassionate spin on my memory. Merry Holidays!

You have such an enchanted cottage. I think it's my favorite house of any I've ever seen. I love it. It holds so much love and talent and passion and creativity.
