Meet Rosie

I've been itching to hook and construct some kind of doll for my hubby's
(I highlighted the link because, if time, you can take a peek at his marvelous new website) granddaughter, Ava.  She is always asking about our dear, passed away kitty, Rosie.  We continue to show her where Rosie is now permanently residing in the backyard...... but when she gets here, Ava still asks, "Where's Rosie?"  So...... I made her a Rosie of her own.  Rosie has a little posy pouch similar to the one I made for Ava and our dear friend Emma.

Rosie's has a couple of lavender sprigs tucked in hers.  Such fun.........

Dulcy, she is utterly gorgeous. And what is this psychic link? I have just finished sewing a rag doll cat!

Not sure he will be as lovely as yours though.

Hi Dulcy, first thank you for your comment on my blog. I did three post on the Fiber Art Retreat as there were so many photos.

I visited your hubby's page but couldn't leave a comment but as I looked on he photo, it appears to me that the fox is a nursing mother as I think I can see teats under her belly so she must be a bit apprehensive as she probably has pups in the area.

What a great shot, my compliment to Jim.
Hugs. JB

isn't it fun to make something that doesn't take forever to complete? Love those 3 frogs too!
